Born in Cagliari in 1974 with her twin sister Valeria. She spent her childhood in Oristano and then moved to Terralba where she currently lives. Since 1995, she has been involved in historical reenactments, particularly of the medieval Sardinian and Judicial periods.
Plastiline artist, designer and plasti-illustrator. She has published the Plastilibri "Sa vida in su sattu," "Is bidrureddas," "Friends of the Giraffe," and "Let's Color the Animals." She graduated from the Liceo Artistico in Oristano, address "Design of Ceramics."
The author is best known to the younger audience for the creation of Plastilibri, the picture books illustrated with Plastilina, but also to adults for her courses and workshops in which since 2011 she has been teaching the use of Plastilina and the creation of works suitable for all ages and always with new themes. Monica Tronci's Plastilina operates at 360° with a Youtube channel in which she publishes videotutorials and by setting up exhibitions of Plastiquadri and three-dimensional characters and on social networks.
