6 in History: a journey into History through stories
6 in History is a literary event about the stories that tell History. Although it may seem like a simple concept, achieving sufficiency in this journey means confronting an infinity of narratives: within History live millions of women, men, events, places and times. Events take place throughout the calendar year, in Cagliari and in the initiative's partner municipalities.

6 in History: a journey into History as protagonists
6 in History is an invitation to enter History feeling like protagonists: to know the past in order to understand the present and plan the future together. Through reading, reflection and dialogue we can connect to our time and find in the stories of yesterday and today the keys to better interpret the present, feel an active part of the Community and contribute to the construction of a shared future.

6 in History: a composite and innovative project
6 in History is an innovative and composite project that brings together multiple experiences: books of different genres, including historical novels, exemplary biographies, essays, journalistic investigations, and poetry, writing and reading workshops. It is aimed at adult audiences and schools, offering a space to reflect and share a passion for History through different languages and forms of expression.

6 in History: a cooperative and inclusive method
The event adopts a cooperative and inclusive approach, with reading and writing workshops for young people under 30 that foster collective growth through the sharing of experiences and skills. Young people are involved in school and extracurricular settings and in marginal settings, such as prison and rehabilitation residences and social and work rehabilitation communities. Meetings with writers take place in different modalities: open to citizenship, intended for educational institutions, and informally and motivationally in different contexts.

6 in History: an idea born out of curiosity
6 in History was born in 2022 out of the reflections of the event's artistic directors, Marina Boetti, a cultural planner and bookseller by profession, and Lucia Cossu, a cultural activist and lecturer in History and Philosophy, with the aim of investigating the relationship between storytelling and History. The project, which integrates different literary and artistic forms, focuses on discovery, reflection and dialogue. 6 in History has thus evolved into a dynamic and innovative event designed to engage a diverse audience and foster a deep connection between readers and writers.

Imago Mundi OdV, which has married and organizes the initiative with the collaboration of the Pamoja association, and which has been coordinating the Monumenti Aperti project at the regional and national level for almost 30 years, confirms and broadens with 6 in History its range of attention and sensitivity especially to the world of young people and schools, to foster and consolidate their transversal knowledge and skills.
