This type of meeting is aimed at a specific target group of under-35s who are offered not only a more informed reading of the book but a meeting with the author/author who tells his or her personal story and educational journey. Through her narrative that answers the question "what story are you from?", the reader receives a different and new motivation for reading the book. "The Sea Above" tells the story of the periphery of a city that is itself peripheral, through characters suspended on the margins and who only through their own strength will survive the impending catastrophe that is real or only imagined. And it is through the telling of small, everyday stories of ordinary people that we realize that we are part of the big Story.
