Marilù Oliva, born in Bologna, is a writer, essayist and teacher of literature. She has been publishing mythological books for years, among them, the bestsellers "The Odyssey Told by Penelope, Circe, Calypso and the Others," translated in many countries, "The Iliad Sung by the Goddesses" and "The Aeneid of Dido," published by Solferino. And children's books such as "Extraordinary Myths" and "The Mythical Journey," co-written with her son Matteo, published by De Agostini. She has dealt with crime, her most famous thriller being "The Buried Brides," where she inaugurated the saga of policewoman Micol Medici.
She contributes to several magazines and is editor-in-chief of the literary blog Libroguerriero.
