A guided tour to discover Giudicale Oristano leads little Grace, sneaking into the Seminary garden, to an extraordinary discovery. Among the ancient stones of the city walls she finds an original manuscript of the giudicessa Eleonora. Together with her friend Francis, to whom she reveals her secret, she completes its exciting reading.
This is not an official text, but a private writing in which Eleonora recalls her own childhood. Amidst innocent mischief, rides outside the walls, and sometimes reckless explorations, Grace and Francis discover places, events, and characters that have marked the history of their town and the whole of Sardinia.
